Steve Claydon’s large-scale film piece was situated in the iconic and brutalist landmark the Moore Street electricity substation. The installation was based on research into materiality and matter at an atomic level, which explores the transmission of energy via mass and the material manifestation of force. For the piece he worked with local steel manufactures to create four large reverb panels to amplify the sound, which can be heard whilst walking up the corridor towards the entrance of the room.
