The challenge

When Bright Biotech came to us, they were gearing up for a game-changing phase.

With a rapidly growing team and some big funding rounds on the horizon, co-founder Mohammad knew they needed more than just a visual refresh – they needed a bold new identity that matched their ambition. Their current branding? Good enough for biotech. But “good enough” isn’t what makes waves.

Mohammad wanted a brand that stood out, told their story in a way that would stop people in their tracks, and most importantly, attract top-tier talent. Bright Biotech needed to look and feel world class.

Story

Bright Biotech is a pioneering, sustainability-focused company who use chloroplasts to express high amounts of proteins in plants, for use in life sciences and food.

The solution

Starting with strategy we soon landed on a brand essence which spoke directly to their ethos: “Growing Brighter Futures.” This became a real mantra for the whole visual language, starting with the logo. From there, we went bold with their new identity.

The logo we developed? A clever fusion of a bright spark and a geometric plant, perfectly balancing innovation and nature. Vibrant RGB-focused colour palettes brought the concept to life, with an emphasis on “Bright Green,” symbolizing growth, sustainability, and forward-thinking science.

 

A revolutionary biotech firm needs a revolutionary website that pushes boundaries, so that’s exactly what we created. The site opens with a coded animation sequence that takes users on a journey – guiding them through layers of understanding, from novice to expert. It’s a real visual experience. We made sure every element, from the team imagery to the interactive features, reflected Bright Biotech’s cutting-edge approach. Sharp, clean visuals, often accented with the leaf motif or that signature pop of gradient, tied everything together.

This wasn’t just about a new look – it was about telling a powerful story. Visually, graphically, and symbolically, the new identity represents real change for Bright Biotech. The result? A brand as forward-thinking as the science they’re pioneering.

Bright Biotech came to us for a brand transformation, and what they left with was an identity that’s shaking up the biotech world – one that clearly tells their story, attracts top talent, and positions them as leaders in their field. A brighter future, indeed.
